Day 37
Our church is very intentional about making disciples. We reach out to others by inviting them to events we have at church, we have ministries that study the word of God, and we apply it by serving and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ to others.
Lord, use us in a mighty, impactful way as we go out into a world full of people in need of you. Be our commander and our protection.

Day 36
From what I have observed, some of the important things about our church are learning God's word, fellowship, and serving the community. As I have participated in these activities I have experienced the love our church has for God, for each other and for our community and truly feel God in the center of it all.
Lord, I thank you for this church, it's congregation and it's ministries for making a difference in my life and helping me deepen my relationship with you. Be with us always and help us to reflect you in everything we do and everywhere we go.

1.) There were tension and division between the two groups of widows. This division could have stopped people from experiencing the glory of god and threatened the growth of early church.
2.) The apostles knew that taking on the responsibility to manage the distributions would distract them from their doing work of spreading God's word. Therefore, they asked the congregation to appoint honest, experienced men filled with the Holy Spirit to manage it.
3.) They prayed over this new group of leaders.
4.) Working as a team and delegating jobs that were also important allowed the continuing spread of the Gospel, provide for the community, and build up…

Day 34
As someone who has just recently started attending this church, I feel that this church does show the signs of a healthy church.
The signs that I see that this church is strong in are:
Shares Jesus - through the message on Sunday, during fellowship, and when serving, I see that this church really centers around Jesus and His love for us.
Serves together - I love being part of a group that serves together and works together as a team. I think it is so important that the congregation doesn't expect only certain people to do it all because it causes burnout and resentment because that will make a church unhealthy.
Disciples believers - I have really…

Day 33
If we truly believe in Christ, we must live our lives believing everything He said, including to also love one another. We don't get to pick and choose who we love. To love Him is to love others. Real, genuine love is what will set us apart from others.
Lord, when you put your seal on me, people should know who I belong to by loving others as you have loved me. In a world with so much hate, selfishness and divison, help me to be a messenger of your love to those that don't know you and also to other Christians. Help me to not get wrapped up in judgment and selfishness that I miss opportunities t…
